Born in Tokyo, Japan, Aya Sasaki started her piano studies when she was three, and started cello when she was thirteen. She had studied with Hitoshi Miyazawa and graduated from Kunitachi College of Music High School in Tokyo, Japan in 2015. She has participated in master class with Nathaniel Rosen in 2014. She served as a principle in Tokyo Junior Philharmonic Orchestra, Caprice String Ensemble. In 2017, she has performed with New York Symphonic Ensemble at the United Nations Headquarters. She has been studying cello at Queens College under Marcy Rosen. Now she is member of Prism String Trio and Queensboro Symphony Orchestra and also, she has been working as a piano accompanist.
